We have 3 pupil Wellbeing Officers to cover each of the key stages.  The wellbeing officers will be the first point of call for any parents wanting to discuss anything regarding their child.    The Wellbeing officers have a wealth of skills and experience from qualifications in coaching, counselling, anger management, mentoring as well as developing specific programmes to support pupils with their academic progression. We have 3 pupil Wellbeing Officers to cover each of the key stages.  The wellbeing officers will be the first point of call for any parents wanting to discuss anything regarding their child.    The Wellbeing officers have a wealth of skills and experience from qualifications in coaching, counselling, anger management, mentoring as well as developing specific programmes to support pupils with their academic progression.

Their key responsibilities are:

  • To work in partnership with the Progress Leaders to ensure the wellbeing of pupils within the key stage
  • To organise and prioritise pastoral issues within the specified key stage
  • To monitor and improve the attendance, punctuality and behaviour of students within the key stage
  • To act as a mentor to individuals and to monitor, review and report on the progress of such students
  • To offer careers education information and guidance to students;Work as part of the Internal Exclusion Team in developing classroom re-integration strategies for students;
